Visited Mutawintji on Fri/Sat 16/17 September 2016, fabulous place been raining country looked amazing.Visit spoilt only by the lack of maintenance of facilities, nothing worked except the flush toilets which were short of paper and could do with a pressure wash. Do not forage for firewood! There are free GAS BBQ's and hotplates, non of which worked and were full of old fat, the solar lights none worked, not a stick of firewood to be found for obvious reasons. Oh! the phone at the visitor centre did work, that was it, necessary to book tours of course! Yes we will be going back next year but a bit more prepared.
